BLACK ROBOT: Entire Debut Album Available For Streaming
June 7, 2010The debut album from the Los Angeles rock band BLACK ROBOT is available for streaming in its entirety at AOL Music. It will be available in stores and online on June 8, 2010 through Formosa Records/Rocket Science Ventures.
BLACK ROBOT was founded by original BUCKCHERRY bassist Jonathan "J.B." Brightman and Detroit singer Huck Johns. The band also features Swedish guitarists Andy Andersson and Staffan Osterlind as well as former HOT SAUCE JOHNSON drummer Possum Hill.
"Cocaine", the new video from the BLACK ROBOT, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed at the legendary Hollywood burlesque bar Jumbo's Clown Room and features a surprise cameo appearance by former "Kids in the Hall" and "NewsRadio" star Dave Foley. The video was directed by Lawrence Shapiro.
"We made this in the spirit of the classic rock videos of our time with lots of beautiful girls and humor," says Brightman. "The filming was just one big party!"
BLACK ROBOT's debut album has been called "explosive, memorable, soulful, bursting with attitude and full of piss and vinegar" (SleazeRoxx.com).
